Craft Concoction Friday! {Burlap-ish}

TUTORIAL:
Here's some ribbon...(all Walmart brand)
Have you seen this burlap looking ribbon?
I know right?
Cut out 5 strips (I can count, I know there's only 4 in this pic) Length depending on Flower Pedal Size you want.

Hot Glue the frayed ends...
When the glue is moldable
(but not burnable), squish it...

Add a glue dot HERE...

Push both sides inside like so...

Pedal shape...

5 pedals!

Start glueing...

SO CUTE!

Glue a clippy on the back...
(I'm not going anywhere special today and didn't put my face on, I did shower though;)

Here's a Baby girl size...

A blogger friend mailed this pic (BELOW) to me as ispiration, she wanted to know how you'd go about making these...I guess you could do it all sewing by hand.(But I DO think I need to get out and find ribbon somewhere besides Walmart. Isn't this ADORABLE?!)

Ribbon bows are cute, but I've always been a fan of Flowers in the hair, so TO COMBINE BOTH is brilliant! Where have I been?

I was planning on adding some fake leaves (dollar store leaves) but I guess I used them all up during the fall season...Oh well.
