Cuegly *NO SEW* Pumpkins!
***

It was late, my kids were asleep, my husband was studying, and I felt like crafting, but I SURE DIDN'T feel like sewing. So I grabbed some:
FABRIC
DOLLAR STORE LEAVES
DOLLAR STORE RIBBON
A BOX OF CLOTHES (going to the DI)
DRY BEANS
Fabric face down:
Pile of dry beans:
Shirt: (out of my pile of clothes that almost made it to the DI)

Grab it, Tie it with Ribbon and then
cut straight accross:

It makes a cool squiggly design!

ADD DOLLAR STORE DECOR:

TA DA!
Looked pretty cool with my haunted bird houses!

Yes, you can use batting or stuffing. I didn't have any, and if you've been around awhile, you've learned that I sub a LOT of things for even CHEAPER! (sometimes weirder, and very CUEGLY!)

I LOVE THESE. I was just going to add it to the fall ideas post, but then I decided they deserve their own post. I will be featuring these in a few days at somedaycrafts.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteOh these are so cute! And they look so easy! Thanks for the idea~

those are PERFECT for a girl like me. You know, the kind of girl who bought a sewing machine that sat in it's box (taped shut, never opened) for over a year until I gave it to my mom b/c I finally figured out I was never going to use it! :)
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I once made virtually the same thing but used toilet paper rolls inside (now that's creative storage...) (I love your blog--my favorite project is your black and white table--I have to show everyone.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. I like how at the end of the season I can take 'em apart and reuse the fabric. Now to add orange fabric and brown ribbon to my list!
ReplyDeleteYep--I'm so making of few of these. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThese are so stinking cute! Even *I* can make these! I even have a whole bunch of extra batting I can use.
ReplyDeleteThese are very cute! I love that they are no sew.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, I love them!!
ReplyDeleteThose are very cute, so quick and easy and a GREAT project for those gals that don't own a sewing machine.
ReplyDeleteThanks for participating. I love it.

You've been featured. Go check out what I had to say about you.

I'm a fan of anything that starts with the words "no sew"!
ReplyDeleteOk...so I could actually make these! Thanks for the cute idea!
ReplyDeleteHey Linds,
ReplyDeleteI need some help with a little project and it will take very little on your part. If you can help me out with a minor project 9maybe 5 minutes of your time), e-mail me and I will e-mail you more details.

This was just the halloween project I was needing!!! Love how these turned out!
ReplyDeleteSo-o-o-o-o CUTE! I think I'll gather sticks from the backyard to look like stems coming out from the top!
