NO SEW PUMPKINS!!!

***
Cuegly *NO SEW* Pumpkins!
***

It was late, my kids were asleep, my husband was studying, and I felt like crafting, but I SURE DIDN'T feel like sewing. So I grabbed some:
FABRIC
DOLLAR STORE LEAVES
DOLLAR STORE RIBBON
A BOX OF CLOTHES (going to the DI)
DRY BEANS

Fabric face down:
Pile of dry beans:

Shirt: (out of my pile of clothes that almost made it to the DI)

Grab it, Tie it with Ribbon and then
cut straight accross:

It makes a cool squiggly design!

ADD DOLLAR STORE DECOR:
TA DA!

Looked pretty cool with my haunted bird houses!
Yes, you can use batting or stuffing. I didn't have any, and if you've been around awhile, you've learned that I sub a LOT of things for even CHEAPER! (sometimes weirder, and very CUEGLY!)

  8. those are PERFECT for a girl like me. You know, the kind of girl who bought a sewing machine that sat in it's box (taped shut, never opened) for over a year until I gave it to my mom b/c I finally figured out I was never going to use it! :)

  9. Very cute. I once made virtually the same thing but used toilet paper rolls inside (now that's creative storage...) (I love your blog--my favorite project is your black and white table--I have to show everyone.)

  10. What a great idea. I like how at the end of the season I can take 'em apart and reuse the fabric. Now to add orange fabric and brown ribbon to my list!
