Your HAIR is your head suit!
1. Dont over wash your hair. You've heard it before! Daily washing only strips your natural scalp oils that are needed to nourish your strands. Every 2-3 days should do.
2. But my hair is SO oily! Or I workout every day and sweat! I HAVE to wash it everyday! Trust me, you dont. Stock up on DRY SHAMPOOS. Dust it on to absorb excess oils, (it also gives fine hair some oomph).
3. If you have fine hair, ask your stylist to give it a blunt-cut for a more thick-end eye view.
4. Which simply means that a point-cut and layers are perfect for thick hair! Work with your hair. Some hair cuts are NOT for your hair type. I'm not here to burst bubbles, just being honest.
5.LOVE your LEAVE-INS! Get to know a good Leave-In Conditioner, and use after your wash. It gives your hair just the right amount of moisture it needs to stay soft. (Remember that moisture and oil are NOT the same thing!)

And to think I may have been over washing. thanks for sharing
I think I will try this dry shampoo. I've been trying to find one that wouldn't break the bank.
Thanks for the tips! I was watching Dr. Oz the other day and he said the same thing about not washing your hair every day. I have been washing my hair every other day for the last 2 weeks and I can really tell a difference! Thanks for all the other hair tips too!!
Love your blog! I used to be in Shelby's ward. Love her too! I'm also a hair dresser. Love your tips. I love the 'some haircuts are not for your hair type,' I swear some people just don't get it. I hate putting a 'dent' in their day, but I do want them to look fab when they leave!
Thanks for this post! I've been debating trying a dry wash and this just gave me the encouragement I needed. I'm going to try it tomorrow!
Thanks for showing me this Linds. I will just have to practice. And run and buy some dry shampoo/leave in conditioner. Ive never heard of dry shampoo before so this should be interesting! :D
