Dainty Apron...{Me Create with U-Create}

I'm being inspired by U-create's 'February's Create With Me' Project.

APRONS!
I've been married for almost 6 years and this is the first apron I've ever owned.
And I've already put it hard at work! (No not just for the photo shoot...thanks hubby)
I followed THIS easy breezy tutorial for the basic apron!
Except I put the pocket on the chest...no I'm not quite sure what I'll put in a chest pocket but I'll figure it out okay? I already had a spatula smack me in the face.
I'm...uh...working out the kinks.
I've been wanting to make an apron for awhile now, (but wanting some mucho grande ruffles).
I'm not a seamstress, so I followed THIS easy breezy ruffle tutorial.

And now I feel dainty :)
I could be in my pajamas and put this beauty on and feel FAB!
Like when i made Vday dinner Monday night :)

Wha??? You dont like asparagus? You should try baking it on a cookie sheet, in the oven on 400* for 10 minutes in olive oil and kosher salt. My mom is a brilliant cook. Thanks mom :)

I almost got carried away and made a headband or hair flower with the matching fabric. But then I pictured myself wearing an apron and matching hair piece with ruby red lips (and not even cooking, I might even sport an English accent) then someone coming to my door... I would blush a lil I'm sure.

I love aprons. I think they are so beautiful. I can't sew though so I'll have to stick to buying mine. You did a good job!

You looks so flippin adorable in that. I am a big lover of aprons. New and vintage. I love to make aprons out of vintage fabrics. You did a great job and let me tell you, once you start wearing an apron, you will always be an apron girl.

I'm loving aprons at the moment, but my man does all the cooking - awkward! ;) That meal looks delicious, mmm!

Yours turned out cute. I love ruffles! I did the create with me on Ucreate too. Just posted my apron yesterday. I love it. It is also the first apron I have owned. Fun stuff!

Oh, Linds you look beautiful! Love the apron and ruffles :) I also LOVE your blog, it makes me smile/laugh (in a good way) EVERY time I look at it!
Okay, so I'm still laughing with tears in my eyes at Double Dream Hands...also with kids in bed and the hubs at work.
Love you!
