Hey Cuegly Crowd!

So, how do you pronounce CUEGLY anyways?
Where did this jumble originate from?

To answer those questions I should first say that I have a habit of making up words. (Ask my husband who has learned to speak my language over 7+ years of time). Cuegly started with fashion. I found, that I like clothes that others might find as...well...ugly. But I SURE thought they were cute! Put the words Cute and Ugly together and what do you get???
CUEGLY.
(Or pronounced: Q-GLEE)

You should also know that Cuegly, to me, is a compliment. If you can take a moment to imagine myself shopping with my dear spouse and proclaiming 'That's so cuegly!' to anything that described my fashion or personality.
That's me...

I'm Linds. I have a obsession passion for staying busy.  Completing a project is like giving myself a Christmas present.   I love learning and overcoming failures and strengthening talents that I may have never found if not pursued.
I always push myself to get better at something and work on it until I'm satisfied with my progress. (I still have yet to pee in a cup in less than 2 hours of trying... but I'm working on it).   On this blog you'll read about my success, failures and learn skills along with me. Trust me, I screw up just as much as ANYONE else...like HERE, and HERE. (There's more, trust me).
But I believe strengthening talents is a gift to give back to my Father in Heaven.

I'm a Cosmetologist and photographer. I'm a mother, a house keeper and a wife. I'm an avid runner, and I'm especially happy running in the Fall. I'm competitive to my core being and love to turn everything into a game.
I love, love.
And I love making people happy.

THIS is what makes me happy:

If you've come this far and you're not QUITE bored yet,
let me bore you here:
Get to know me:

LIFE 2 DO'S:
Hot air balloon ride, be in a flash mob dance, Solve the Rubik's cube, learn the Jitter Bug, meet Michael Jordan (use to be "AND Michael Jackson", but I missed my chance), Go Zorbing, break a world record, raise honorable kids in this world, become aerobics instructor, get up at 5 every morning to work out (lol), write a children's book, Be on the Ellen DeGeneres show, invent something, where a mask to the carnival in Venice, Go shopping in Paris, own a go-cart track (and race race race!), grow closer to God each day, learn to play the ukulele better, make you laugh, act in a play or movie, be my husband and kid's best friend, and a spoonful of chocolate every day.

I LOVE:
YELLOW, mint oreo's (especially homemade), driving in the fast lane, Jump roping, running, people watching, styling hair, mud in my toes, cheesecake, Holidays, kid's imagination, spray paint, movies, MUSIC, lip glosszebra print, salt, vintage fashion, handmade items, family, laughing (always the last one), naming things, TWILIGHT, shopping, refurbishing, hippie fashion, reading, making food look pretty, making people look pretty, blog stalking, my DH, being a mom, and THEMES! Oh I LOVE EM!

I'm a chronic reader.

One of my favorite things to do is put the kids to bed and snuggle up with a good book. It's like entering another world in a small escape from real life for JUST a moment. My favorites are The Star-Crossed Series by Higgins, The City of Bones, The Iron Fey Series, Twilight, Harry Potter, Rainwater, Fablehaven, The Goose Girl, Graceling, and The Hunger Games. If you have any suggestions...I'm VERY VERY open to more reading material!

Thanks for visiting That's So Cuegly! I absolutely love my followers! And I GREATLY love comments! Stick around so I can get to know you as well!

Hi...again! :) I've been a reader of yours for a while now and I've never seen this part before. I don't know if it's new or if I just totally missed it previously.

Well, I like it. It's a great idea. The to do's paragraph was fun. I don't know if you're in a position to do a play any time soon, but in case you are here's a little info. Dillatantes(umm, yeah I really don't know how to spell it) of Magic Valley are putting on Beauty and The Beast (the musical). I think auditions are this winter some time and the production will be in the Spring. That's all I know for now. I'm hoping I can work it out because it's been way too long since I've been in a play. I thought this might be something you'd enjoy as well. ta ta for now.

oh! and I feel so bad that I wasn't able to get anything together for the craft fair. I hope it goes so well....assuming it hasn't happened yet. I'm terrible, I can't recall.

I just wanted to comment that I looked at your good reads books and I pretty much have read most of them too. Crazy!
I suggest:
Anything by Jodi Piccoult especially "19 minutes"
Also "Her Fearful Symmetry" same author as Time Travelers Wife.

Wow, I'm so happy I stumbled upon this site. I love it! I loved 75 things to do with you kids. I have 4, ages 6-14 and I'm letting them pick what to do today from the list. Thanks for helping me take a step back and realize what's more important today than cleaning the house, again. What a beautiful family you have.

Hi! I just found your blog and it made me laugh and feel better that I'm not the only pasty white girl on the planet that doesn't tan so I don't get skin cancer.

Anyways, just thought I'd let you know that you're adorbs. (I make up words too. and cuegly totally makes sense, tho I have to argue that your style isn't ugly, because... it's adorbs. lol.)

OH! and for reading suggestions - Robin McKinley. I'd start with Beauty. It makes my heart melt every time.
