I FINISHED MY EXCESSIVELY LARGE END TABLE
...and well...
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT
*****
BEFORE...

AFTER...

I sanded it...

First coat of black spray paint ( Dont just spray the heck out of it until it's shiny black, give it a couple coats so you dont drip the paint.

Give it a second coat then,
Mod Podge some craft paper on top...

Mod Podge some craft paper on old crib baskets...

WAH LAH!!!

I'm doing my master bedroom in BLACK n WHITE. I know it wont be completely finished for a year or two, but here's a good start!

I have a table very similar to that that I got for $2 and have been pondering the black and white paper on top. Just might have to take the plunge and do it! Yours turned out great!

Oh my gosh you don't even know how perfect this would be in my living room and guess what?! I bought an old coffee table at the DI months ago and haven't decided what to do with it.. I think you have just helped me make that decision! I LOVE it!

Sorry, question for you.. did you put some sort of varnish or something on it after you finished?

It looks great! I just bought a little end table to redo and I can't wait to get started!

I used gloss spray paint. Does that count as VARNISH? :)

haha I don't know, but I've never refinished anything before... so I wasn't sure how you got it to look shiny. Now I know. :) Thank you!
