An English Tea Party at Two Years of Age

My daughter turns two this week. I threw her a party. A Tea Party. I decided on a Tuesday that I wanted to throw her a tea party. I made the decorations and decorated Wednesday morning. (The party was that Saturday). I even took down my Halloween decorations (that's a big deal for me). Here are the results:
On the front door: (goodbye fall wreath) When you walked in the door:
A day to remember:
(who says only girls can have a tea party? Co-Ed is SO much more fun!)$0.50 tea cup at the D.I.A sheet of round mirrors at the $1 store for a table center pieceHanging above the table (from the ceiling fan):You cant see it, but on the other side of this pink marshmallow, is a half a gummy watermelon lifesaver. (it all looks like a tea cup!)Easy Peasy banner with printout paper lettersThe birthday girl:They RANG A BELL when they wanted more tea:
6 bells at the $1storeMy oldest: (nice stash eh? Very zuit-suit) (sp)Opening presents by the stuffed guests:BEAUTIFUL tea pot from Ross. (I borrowed it from my M.I.L.)I made these 3 decor floral pom poms in 20 minutes with 3 $1 store styrofoam balls and also $1 store flowers! CHEAP CHEAP! Tea Lemon Cookies (died pink for a special occasion) with a FABulous lemon glaze. These burst in your mouth, right before melting. Quite a delicacy.
The Guest list :
(All Cousins) I thought FOR SURE that I was going to enjoy this more than the kids, but they had an ABSOLUTE BALL! They sat and snacked and enjoyed it the WHOLE TIME! I'm a happy mother. Your only daughter doesn't turn 2 EVERY day does she?

(I thought I was trying to make the pics look vintage, but it kinda just looks like I had bad lighting...sorry)Pictures taken by myself and my sister in law Emmalie).

Very creative and unique idea for the party. I thought all the kids looked so cute dressed up. Good job. I have five daughters and they love tea parties. Yet they never had one that cool.
