That is a super cute idea until you have to pull the lights out of the slimy pumpkin. My advice (from experience) is to buy the fake pumpkins and take the time to hollow them out, then you'll have them forever! Good luck!
I wonder if it would still look cool if you didn't peg in the Christmas lights and just put a candle or pumpkin light in it...
